David of Pullar Horticulture has had a passion for gardening for as long as he can remember, even doing gardening for his work experience at school. Training has been completed at Angus College, Dundee College, the Scottish Agricultural College along with city and guilds. David also worked as full time sole gardener on a country estate for 8 years and on and off for two years prior. Gaining hands on experience and practical tips and techniques taught by some of the most respected gardeners in Scotland. David is also a member of the PPG, Professional Gardeners Guild.

Join us for an apple tree grafting course on Saturday 23rd March from 10am till 1pm. Meet the experts and following a talk and demonstration on the art of grafting, you can have a go at grafting your own apple tree to take home. You will also learn early pruning to produce standard, half standard, espaliers and cordons. All tool and equipment will be provided. The course cost is £20. Well back to the grind! It's been a well needed rest but time to get ready for the spring. Tools to maintain, bulbs to divide, seeds to order, jobs to quote, new machinery to buy, website to get in order, trees to prune... the list is extensive!
